Once upon a time, in a snowy forest, a group of bears were getting ready to have a Beary Merry Christmas! Imagining the scenarios for a group of Christmas loving bears was just as much fun as creating the art for this print. The rendering style was inspired by antique engravings, but I wanted them to feel cozier, and be colorful. By layering watercolor with the pen & ink drawings, I was able to achieve a style that’s intricately detailed, but also has a softness.
