This coastal print was developed for Summer 2023 Bedding for Pottery Barn. The design prompts were coastal toile, but looser and more modern. Ultimately, we developed art that feels like a toile in spirit, but with more laidback vibes. A wide variety of form, texture, and movement in the motifs was a key part to choosing which sea life to illustrate. All the natural patterns within the seashells and other sea life mix well with the defined shapes of coral and feathery strands of seaweed.
