Each piece in the collection is made from dip-dyed fabric. Jess dip-dyed linen, creating an ombre of indigos from dark to light, which added a softness to the color transitions in the work. The linen was ripped into strips, cut, and sewn yielding a variety of exciting surface textures. Together, the shades of blue and layers of fabric create depth and movement and give the pieces a delightfully tactile feeling.
